    A fantastic role has come up within our Chartis brand which is a vibrant and dynamic team.


    We know that great people make great companies so the successful candidate will join an entrepreneurial, highly motivated sales team responsible for representing the Chartis range of products to both potential and existing customers, including technology vendors and the top tier financial institutions. This is a role that offers full antimony in a consultative environment whilst retaining and building a solid client database. We sell subscriptions to our clients on an enterprise basis over the phone and face-to-face.

    With a consultative approach, you will identify our customers' needs and demonstrate how our content will help them keep informed and achieve their objectives. The successful individual will be responsible for building new business both in subscriptions and one off sales of reports. The emphasis will be very much be on clients who are not currently spending with.


    In a nutshell:

    The Sales Executive is expected to excel in the following areas:

    • Frequent prospecting calls potential customers.
    • We have a CRM database and you will be given existing clients to work with but the focus will be on new business opportunities
    • Achieve the assigned sales target by selling Chartis subscriptions and individual research papers
    • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients, and strategize, present, and demonstrate tailored solutions
    • Follow-up on inbound sales leads and marketing leads
    • Build relationships with key executives and decision-makers at institutions and technology providers
    • Arrange and execute face to face visits to promote our products to both potential and existing customers.
    • At least 5 per week and 40 outgoing calls per day when based in the office.
    • Develop a solid understanding of the financial services industry

    Essential criteria

    • You will have an understanding of subscriptions business and the interactions between the key functions; sales, marketing, data insight and customer service
    • Understanding of Enterprise Solution Selling
    • Experience within the financial markets preferred
    • Ability to build strong relationships with key clients
    • Excellent sales skills, particularly face-to-face but also over the telephone
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
