    We are looking for a Sales support presentation assistant to support our marketing events team.

    Job Description

    This role covers the following portfolio of brands: www.risk.net; www.fxweek.com; www.waterstechnology.com; www.centralbanking.com; www.postonline.co.uk; www.insuranceage.co.uk

     

    The Sales support presentation assistant will work with the senior marketing manager, publishers and sales teams to create strong, on brand, sales collateral. Understanding the positioning of the brand and the sales cycle and can simplify with a strong message for our clients is key to the success of this role.

     

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

    Marketing services
    • Experienced administrator that is able to think beyond the task in hand with excellent communications skills.
    • Assist in the creation of marketing collateral that support new business and growth for the business (presentations, executive summaries, brochures etc.)
    • Understand the sales life-cycle and be able to write compelling persuasive presentations to support it.
    • Ad-hoc requests such as preparation of material for Senior Management  and RFP’s
    • Key role within the marketing services sales team – supporting delivery of revenues
    • Global role, based in London 
    • Proactive, curious, excellent communicator, high-energy, solutions-driven, results-oriented

    Role

    • Work with marketing services sales and digital teams to define existing as well as new products (product description and benefits to clients)
    • Write compelling marketing copy and produce professional, high-quality materials (PPT, PDF) (Note: can work with our design team for specific elements, e.g., logos / graphics, but is able to produce material independently of this team)
    • Identify data points (internal from our data, or external benchmarks) that will support a sales pitch and have ideas on how to incorporate them visually
    • Work with sales teams and clients on case studies / testimonials; as well as developing our own customer-led research on marketing budget spend / behaviours

     

    Qualifications

    Qualities

    • Creative and flexible mind set - ability to think outside the box
    • Accomplished written business communication skills, in the form of brochures, supporting sales collateral, media packs, special reports and infographics.
    • Ability to absorb complex material/information/ideas and clearly communicate these  to win business
    • Keen attention to detail/strong proof reading skills
    • Ability to edit and refine existing content within short timeframes
    • Marketing background desirable with good understanding of branding guidelines - ensuring that all content adheres to company standards
    • Ability to independently research prospects, sectors and new products
    • Good working knowledge of MS Office suite, expert level in PowerPoint, InDesign is a nice to have. Knowledge of Wyevrn and Workbooks is an advantage
