    Job Description:

    The subscriptions sales team at Infopro Digital is an exciting place to work right now - the team have had significant investment, which has enabled them to double revenue in just four years. 

    They’ve done this by changing the approach away from selling to individuals over the telephone, to a face-to-face, consultative sales approach. The team now sell directly to senior executives responsible for teams of people within banks, buy-side firms, regulators and other participants in the global financial markets.


    Working within a vibrant international team and focusing exclusively on the Americas, the primary responsibility for this position will be to generate new business revenues and managing current subscriptions by selling individual subscriptions and enterprise-solution access to our financial, technology, and risk management range of products.


    Responsibilities Include:

    The successful individual will be responsible for building new and additional business through calling requested trials, conference leads, and prospecting for potential subscribers for our WatersTechnology brand (www.waterstechnology.com).

    • Frequent prospecting calls to requested trial leads, conference leads, and utilizing internal resources to generate sales
    • Arrange and execute face-to-face visits to promote our products to potential new customers and client engagement to current customers
    • Stay informed about the financial markets in order to spot trends, look for new opportunities and establish credibility with our customers by understanding their business
    • Ensuring a high level of customer service which will involve training clients on how to best use our products and providing regular usage reports upon request.
    • Managing and maintaining monthly and quarterly pipeline, and keeping detailed records of client correspondence on internal CRM system.
    • Attending industry events and visiting clients will be required.

    As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Business Development Executive to help us deliver the next stage of our revenue opportunity. So whether you have experience with selling subscription-based products, or if you have a fantastic record in sales and are on the hunt for your next move, we’d really like to talk to you.



    • At least 2 or 3 years’ or more experience in a sales role or similar position
    • Previous sales experience working in a B2B environment, preferably within content or data sales
    • A proven track record of winning new business and growing key accounts
    • A proven ability to present and negotiate at a VP/President/CEO/MD level
    • Undergraduate degree (or equivalent) preferred
    • Hardworking, assertive team player with a positive attitude, high energy and enthusiasm
    • Clear and concise communication (both verbal and written) skills
    • Strong problem solving ability, negotiation and closing skills
