    As a Graduate Event Producer you will take direct responsibility for working with our clients to develop content, recruit high level industry speakers and project manage the delivery of sponsored briefings, roundtables and webinars with a focus on risk management in global financial capital markets in UK, Europe and North America.

    Job Description

    Your role will involve working closely with our clients, sponsorship and editorial teams.  It will be necessary to undertake telephone research with industry contacts to develop briefing topics and write cutting-edge marketing copy, recruitment of and liaison with senior-level speakers and effective project management of these events from their inception to completion. The successful candidate will have excellent client facing and project management skills and be able to ensure the successful delivery of multiple events. From time to time, the successful candidate may also be required to work on our public risk management conferences within the Risk.net events portfolio.


    Your main responsibilities include:

    • Act as the primary contact with client and work closely with them to develop the content for sponsored briefings and webinars
    • Liaise between client and internal teams
    • Market research - mainly telephone and face-to-face research, but also desk-based research and attending external events
    • Speaker research, acquisition and management
    • Keeping to set project timelines
    • Brief writing - creating marketing, sales and telesales briefs which explain your events to the wider team
    • Copy writing
    • Programme writing
    • Proof reading
    • Managing conference department systems/IT - such as putting event content and speaker biographies and photos online


    Our ideal candidate will be a graduate looking to join the exciting world of Financial Events. Does that sound like you?

    • Educated to degree level (or equivalent), preferably in a business-related, science or technical discipline.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Proven research and analytical skills.

    • Very strong attention to detail and effective time management.

    • Excellent organisational skills.

    • Ability to build business relationships at all levels.

    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a pressurised environment with tight deadlines.
