    Award-winning business-to-business title Post is currently looking for a commissioning editor.

    The successful candidate will work closely with editorial staff and production to deliver analysis and feature content focused on the UK and global insurance market, delivered on time and within budget.

    The successful candidate will contribute to the brand’s strategic plan and delivering the team’s objectives. They will also be responsible for the brand’s Social Media and native content strategy.


    Job Description

    The role will involve:

    • Oversee planning & execution of brand and editorial content including but not exhaustive of features, social, blog and video consistent with the goals and strategy for the brand.
    • Carrying out market analysis to identify future and current trends, in order to contribute to the editorial strategy for future development.
    • Creating, planning, managing and reporting on execution of Social Media strategy
    • Working closely with the sales team and commercial customers to deliver high quality native content


    The ideal candidate will have:


    • Some previous commissioning experience
    • Up-to-date knowledge of SEO techniques.
    • Experience writing/editing for the web and using CMS software.
    • Ability to understand and act on market trends and potential business opportunities.
    • Proven ability to build strong and collaborative relationships with PRs, bloggers and people of interest
