    The Head of Events Operations - Asia is responsible for overseeing the operations team on the execution and delivery of event logistics for the Insight Group of Infopro Digital’s Asia Events portfolio.  The operations team currently comprises two event managers and one event assistant working on a portfolio of 50+ conferences, awards ceremonies, briefings and training courses across 4 brands

    Job Description

    • Lead and motivate the operations team in Asia
    • Achieve best prices with venues and suppliers
    • Promote the sharing of best practice
    • Execute and deliver events to the highest standard working within agreed deadlines
    • Ensure event costs are strictly managed and brought in under budget
    • Introduction of new format and features for our conferences to improve ROI for our sponsors and Interactivity
    • Promote effective communication between teams and offices
    • Report weekly to the Regional Events Director on progress of the event operations team, including updates on timelines, budget management, personnel and any other issues
    • Work with specific external clients to ensure our bespoke event solutions fulfill their objectives and deliver value to their business
    • Maintain an archive of entertainers, visionary speakers and Mcees for our awards activities

    Qualifications

    • A minimum of 5 years international event management experience
    • Proven experience of managing and motivating a team
    • Strategic thinker with strong execution and project management skills
    • Commercially focused with a proven track record of managing large budgets efficiently
    • Customer-oriented, highly self-driven to exceed sponsors and bespoke events’ client expectations
    • Ability to make decisions and resolve conflict where necessary
    • Thrives under pressure and is proactive in coming up with solutions
    • Strong leadership qualities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
