    Job Title: International Sales Manager – DISTREE Events

    Salary: £28,000 basic + £8,500

    DISTREE Events, part of Infopro Digital, is recruiting an International Sales Manager to work out of our central London office. DISTREE Events helps consumer technology, consumer electronics (CE) and IT brands from around the world accelerate their international sales channels through participation at our hosted buyer events.

    Job Description

    The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of exceeding targets and of delivering creative and valuable solutions to their clients. Previous experience of event sales useful, but not essential. We are looking for individuals who can accelerate the growth of our events and continue the expansion of our customer base.

     

    You will ideally have knowledge of the consumer technology, consumer electronics (CE) and IT products landscape, plus an understanding of the role of distributors, retailers, e-tailers and online marketplaces in global sales channels. This role will involve international travel to trade shows, client meetings and attendance at future DISTREE Events

     

    If you are comfortable talking tech, gadgets, crowdfunding and smart home, and have an interest in helping companies successfully grow their business, get in touch. From negotiating with Asia’s next Xiaomi to engaging the latest Silicon Valley start-up, the role requires a versatile candidate that’s comfortable talking to executives from a wide range of companies across the globe. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with awesome communication skills ready to work as part of a close-knit international team.

     

    You'll be responsible for:

     

    • B2B sales, engaging with and selling to C-level executives from some of the world’s most exciting organizations 
    • Hunting for new business opportunities 
    • Prospecting, negotiation, closing and account management 
    • Reaching your targets on a monthly basis 
    • Meeting the immediate and future needs of our clients, understanding their business priorities and challenges to maintain positive relationships 
    • Creating the best possible customer experience in our industry for these leading companies

    Qualifications

    • Excellent English (written and spoken) is a must, additional language knowledge is an advantage  
    • Previous inside sales/event sales experience is an advantage
